Perfect race day conditions.  Cool and overcast with a light drizzle towards the end.  The race started off with the usual bottle neck up La Jolla Canyon.  Great view of the sunrise as you head up to Mugu Peak.  Great scenic views throughout the course.  The stretch up Chamberlain Trail is pretty taxing.  This is a tough course with plenty of elevation gain (over 10K).  The sunset, if you are out that long is amazing as well.  Overall, the course is very well marked, the aid stations are great, and it is a challenging course.  Another great race from Keira!
